Nawazuddin Siddiqui needs no introduction! Whether Gangs of Wasseypur or Thamma, he has always given his best on-screen, and this time he is all set to return with Netflix’s Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders. In a recent interview with IWMBuzz for promoting his new project, he opened up about the dream role he wants to play.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, the cast of Raat Akeli Hai 2 joined in, including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Chitrangada Singh, and Rajat Kapoor. When asked, the actor said that he would write a role or character for himself. Nawazuddin Siddiqui expressed his desire to play Osho, saying, “Meri bahot time se khawaish hai ki mai Osho ka role play karu, pata nahi kyu.”
Rajneesh was commonly known as Osho; however, his birth name was Chandra Mohan Jain. People called him Acharya Rajneesh, and he was an Indian godman, philosopher, mystic, and founder of the Rajneesh movement.
On the other hand, Chitrangada shared that she would want to do a role like Rekha’s in Umrao Jaan, directed by Muzaffar Ali.

Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders is directed by Honey Trehan and written by Smita Singh. It is produced by RSVP & MacGuffin Pictures, with Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Trehan, and Abhishek Chaubey as the main producers. The show also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Deepti Naval, Ila Arun, and Revathy. The show will stream online on December 19.
