During an interview with TMZ, Lyle revealed that their son, who was present in the house when Sara was killed, had heard the gunfire that claimed his mother’s life as he ran for help. However, he clarified that he did not see the murder happen with his own eyes.
According to Lyle, their son had been playing computer games in another room when he first heard the noises outside. As he walked into the entryway to check out what was happening, he noticed Sara and Shawn standing in the kitchen, with the latter allegedly holding a gun.
