Famous American lawyer and politician, Justin Fairfax, is in the news for all the wrong reasons. As per reports, he died by suicide, but before that, he killed his wife, Cerina Fairfax, with whom he had been married for the last 20 years. For the unversed, Fairfax rose to fame as the 41st Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in 2017. He was one of the few African Americans to hold statewide office in the USA’s history.

Former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax murdered his wife, Cerina Fairfax, at their marital home on April 16, 2026. As per the police, Justin Fairfax shot his wife, Cerina, inside their home, and later he killed himself. It is also stated that the couple’s two teenage kids were inside the home when the shootings occurred. Plus, Justin and Cerina’s son was the one who called 911. On arrival, the police found a man and a woman dead. The police found the same firearm to be used in both the shootings.
