Bhopal police have been tracking all those who reportedly helped the former Miss Pune, Twisha Sharma’s husband, Samarth Singh, remain in hiding for the last 10 days. Both Samarth and his mother, Giribala Singh, were booked in connection with Twisha’s alleged dowry death on May 12, 2026. Confirming that someone helped Twisha’s husband, Samarth, to stay hidden, Bhopal Police Commissioner, Sanjay Kumar, shared with the media, on May 23, 2026, that during the police remand, Samarth would be questioned about his whereabouts during the days in hiding. He added that based on Samarth’s statement, those who helped him would be identified. In his words:
“During the police remand, he (Samarth) will also be questioned as to where he was hiding in the last few days. Based on his replies and their verification, those who helped him stay in hiding, will be identified. Legal action will be initiated against those persons subsequently.”
